6. Six. Of 535. 1% of Congress has your back!

Two conclusions we can draw from the video posted on youtube by Senator Elissa Slotkin calling for sedition are:

a) the deep state is in total denial

b) they have very few people left in the military and intelligence community (in their underground network of those who offer anti-Trump mercenary services as a side-hustle) willing to “resist.”

It just isn’t happening.

Now imagine for a moment if 200 members of Congress participated in the making of that video. Or even 100. Then we’d have a serious problem.

But 6! Six of 535! 1% of Congress.

It’s embarrassing. A flailing last ditch attempt to rally the troops. But the troops are happy with Trump. Trump is negotiating peace and prosperity on three hours of sleep, and SecWar Hegseth is a cool guy with controversial tattoos, not a stuffy guy in a suit who couldn’t do a pull-up if the Bill of Rights herself were under paper shredder attack.

The usual tropes are used in the video: a permission statement (you can refuse illegal orders), a command statement (you must refuse illegal orders), praise/flattery (The American people trust the military), shame/warning (you swore an oath), and probably the codeword activation phrase (Don’t give up the ship).

But it’s the number of members of congress that matters here. Six. Sir, Ma’am, y’all are the ones who already gave up the ship. Nancy’s out. It’s over.

And for good reason. Some actual patriot left all the evidence needed for Tulsi and Kash to prove the deep state conspiracy to get Trump eventually impeached by the House (which did happen) and removed by the Senate (which didn’t because not enough Senators voted to remove him). Thank goodness that mystery person or persons made a decision on the eve of the inauguration not to destroy the burn bags but instead to leave them for Team Trump to find in a SCIF on day 1. We may never know who left us that ultimate housewarming gift but it sure beats a scented candle.

The truth will out. And there lies the crux of it. If you’re a ground level deep-stater, you’re looking at this epic coup d’état fail and thinking either, “you lied to me! Trump wasn’t a bad guy” or, if you’ve been overtly groomed for future leadership and know you’re in the deep state, you’re ruminating: “what a bunch of incompetent cowards — you can’t even destroy evidence properly? Gtfo, we’ll rebuild under decent leadership after Trump’s term is over.” Patience is a virtue. Mueller and Brennan were too blinded by their delusion of omnipotence to plan for alternative outcomes and felt compelled to assert their authority and get Trump out now — an outcome that would have happened naturally on Inauguration Day earlier this year, if only they’d refrained from meddling and just let him serve two great but somewhat disappointing back-to-back terms. If only. But no. It was infuriating to them that unlike Reagan (the trojan horse for CIA director Bush), Bush Sr, Clinton, Bush Jr, and Obama, Trump was elected not selected. How dare the American people choose their own President? It enraged Mueller and Brennan, so much so that they literally couldn’t think straight. The young recruits of the next generation of deep staters will learn from the mistakes of their elders.

But judging by this latest plaintive cry from the deep state old folks home (Mueller/Brennan speaking through the comically baby-faced Slotkin and Deluzio), it’s apparent that they still have hope for an ouster of Trump. If you act, we six members of Congress, and no army, will back you up, says the video. There’s still a chance!

Not without guns and killing there isn’t.

Is that what you’re suggesting, Elissa? Guns and killing? Try to be as forthcoming and candid as you can with your answer.

The Refuse Fascism rally whose admitted stated goal is driving the whole Trump fascist regime from power started here in DC on November 5 and has continued every day since. These are the people whose organizing meeting went viral for saying, “We have one simple demand: Trump must go now. Again, we cannot wait for election cycles, politicians, or the Supreme Court. We need to rise up into millions, get to Washington, DC. We’re chartering a plane. Trump must go now… the fall of the Trump fascist regime begins November 5th. We start on the 5th, we go to the 6th, we go to the 7th, we go to the 8th, and we keep pushing every day, building and growing our numbers, until masses of people are surrounding the White House, surrounding the Capitol … until we drive the Trump regime from power.”

As I mention in my 11/5 post analyzing their treatise (ok, it was a Refuse Fascism flyer someone handed me in Dupont Circle as I was leaving the metro station), the deep state is likely observing the rally crowds for people to recruit for the guns and killing part — and the dying part, if their invocation of the trope “willing to sacrifice for the greater good of defeating this fascism” in their flyer/manifesto is any indicator, and I believe it is. A woman on the Refuse Fascism facebook page posted a video today saying, “the mechanism of removal is not important, the movement from below of millions of people” is. They’re already backing down, priming people to accept that maybe they would “only” remove Trump but dealing with Vance would not necessarily be bad or a continuation of fascism because of the “political realignment from below.” The front people, like the woman in the facebook post, aren’t soldiers; they’re moms doing their darnedest to get the kids to do chores. They talk that way, they think that way, and they couldn’t organize to get a $10 minimum wage, never mind organize and execute a bloody overthrow of a guy who will be out in three years anyway. But the people behind them are ruthless. They’re impatient though, and that’s their Achilles heel (along with their presumption of omnipotence).

They’ve also been highly organized and up till now filled with fervor, but as the truth about the coup attempt against Trump becomes plain for all to see via the slow drip of proof coming from the ODNI, revealing a malevolence so irrefutable that even the media would be remiss not to cover it, the passion will continue to die down. Much of it already has.

Only six members of Congress have your back. You might as well have zero members at that point.

Ah, kudos, Gabbard. Attrition, a brilliant strategy.

The members of Congress are right about one thing though: we must remain vigilant.
